Ok, taking a break from doing one of my mid term papers (at least it's not on-the-spot written, like that nosebleed inducing mid term test I took for another subject last Monday). Why is it that when you need the utmost concentration, some unappealing noise (in this case, a marching band outside our compound) breaks your reverie?
Anyway, I like the term "media scholar" better than "communication scientist". The latter makes me sound like a member of the rocket science club, which is the last thing I want to be. I have a life, after all.
I actually have no idea if I'm approaching this "media scholar" mid term exam correctly, but I'm still trying to combine math logic (computer science) and math tables (communication/media science) in this paper. I'm staring at Benjamin Belton's model in his discussion, The Archaeology of Cyberspace: Material Culture and Information, right now:
I find this study needs further elaboration so I'm now going to cite a local study. Unfortunately, the only theses (with regards to my campaign) available are done by undergrads. Undergrad theses are hardly polished. I cringe in memory of mine.
Ahh! The marching band is done with puncturing my ear drums. I can go back to finishing that paper. I'll go and unwind by DDRing after this.

the charts actually make it easier for me to digest. i hate technical jargon. hahaha! i have to see it in model or formula form because i'm a highly visual person. ![]()
