Pagdadalamhati ng Bayan Para sa Gawad Pambansang Alagad ng Sining

Because none of us in this circle want to make a joke out of the National Artists (and they will be, if Carlo J. Caparas becomes one of them)...we joined the rally of artists, all garbed in black, as we symbolically voiced out our protests at the Cultural Center of the Philippines.  A few of the real National Artists -- Benedicto Cabrera, Virgilio Almario, Bienvenido Lumbera, Salvador Bernal, and Arturo Luz -- locked all their medals up, to be retrieved once the title regains its respect.

As most of our Art Foundation faculty joined the rally, our APC-ABMA students can be found in CCP as well.
