A semi-finalist at the 12th Philippine Web Awards

The Otaku Fridge has done it again. This time around, I made it to the semi-final round of The 12th Philippine Web Awards. The last time one of my websites made it to the PWA was when Disc13.com still existed, in 2000 as a finalist and 2002 as a semi-finalist. Then again, 2002 was also the last time I competed for anything online (before the Philippine Blog Awards last year, that is).

I am now asking for your support at the PWA's People's Choice. Please vote for The Otaku Fridge at http://peopleschoice.philippinewebawards.com. You can vote once every 24 hours.

EDIT: Oh, I just got another exciting news yesterday. Apparently, a project of a former student of mine also got into the semi-finals. So now my request will be to vote for "The Otaku Fridge" and "Project Skyrocket".

You know you did something right as an educator when your student also qualified to compete for the same award.

For the readers who continuously support my sites, thank you very much! Although I don't really expect to win People's Choice -- knowing the number of websites that will be doing promotions -- at least I've made it this far.
