Best of 2013

Because my goals are pretty much set (well, I could actually blog about them much later when I've decided on what I want to do), I'd rather talk about the things I discovered in 2013 that will probably affect my activities for 2014. Some of these I actually didn't want to blog about because I was feeling selfish, haha!

Anyway, without further ado, my top 10. Not in any particular order, of course:

Juju Eats

Dear Juju Eats, please move somewhere near Makati CBD. Every time I struggle to think about what I'd eat at night -- especially now that I've decided to forgo rice in the evenings -- I think about you. Please please please please move near me.

Thoughts about My Husband's Lover

Anyone who knows me or my videogaming habits closely knows that I do not subscribe to any local channel or cable TV. My TV/monitor is exclusively for video games only. So why did I suddenly find myself doing a marathon of GMA7's latest teleserye, My Husband's Lover?

Blame it on CBCP. Heh. They made such a fuss about gay themes (when I'm actually complaining more about the proliferation of mistress themes in local entertainment media) that I got mightily curious.

Guess the Guardians for October 2012

I haven't had a "Guess the Guardian" contest like this in more than a year. But last week, I suddenly found that my desk has become a haven for toys wanting some privacy (my door apparently offers them some modicum of protection from people that can't resist their cuteness).

So now that I have a few guardians on my desk, I would like to play this guessing game again.  Here they are:

Let's add a little twist to this game:
Aside from guessing who these guardians are, I would like to see who can come up with the most creative caption for this photo. Place your answers on the comment box below.

The winners will receive gift certificates from Starbucks.  I will announce the top three winners on October 28, 2012.

Here's another photo, in case you guys need a better angle:

Come on! Have fun with me. And lots of luck to those who are willing to guess! =^.^=

Guardian for July 2011: Voltron GoLion

"From days of long ago, from uncharted regions of the universe, comes a legend. The legend of Voltron: Defender of the Universe! A mighty robot. Loved by good, feared by evil. As Voltron's legend grew, peace settled across the galaxy. On planet Earth, a galaxy alliance was formed. Together with the good planets of the solar system, they maintained peace throughout the universe. Until a new horrible menace threatened the galaxy. Voltron was needed once more. This is the story of the super force of space explorers. Specially trained and sent by the Alliance to bring back Voltron: Defender of the Universe."

Remember these lines? Wow, I still recall at least half of that entire intro paragraph. Hello, childhood memories!! My desk guardian for July 2011 is Voltron: GoLion. (Yup, I am going to be very specific about this one.)

This is her up close (I still maintain it's a "she"). When you combine all five lions, they form Voltron. This was my favorite, since I think the lion robots was a good idea. They sorta made mechs feel organic (even if the lions are still sorta square-ish).

I think I'd need to revisit my past, since I had almost forgotten what the plot was all about. Voltron has a very rich back story (the lions were actually sentient beings!)...and there was a huge difference between the Japanese and US releases, so it might be worth checking into.

Anyway, for my Guess the Guardian winner:

Congratulations to Kate Gienelyn Sinaon! You actually nailed the answer I was looking for.

Since you left your email address along with your answer, please await my email. =^.^=

Curious readers may read her entry here, which was actually the very last.

My favorite Power Rangers: Where are they now?

Thanks to Kel's Plurk about Tommy The Green Ranger's MMA debut (Tommy had been my super crushie and was the reason I got hooked on Power Rangers despite my misgivings about Americanized Sentai), I suddenly had the urge to find out what happened to the original actors.

Go Go Power Rangers!!!

Oh Em Gee! The heroes I looked up to are now in their late 30s to early 40s! Except for the original Yellow Ranger, Thuy Trang, who died in a car accident at age 27 in 2001. That's sad. She may not have been my favorite, but she was still part of the original cast.

Back then, I actually just took note of three major characters and two of them weren't even in the original line-up. So where are they now?

Austin St. John, the original Red Ranger
Hm. Rumors had circulated that he had become a pr0n star, but judging from the photo on the right...I kind of find that bit of info dubious. Despite the added weight, I still find his face to be the friendliest I've ever seen on TV and he still has that cherubic aura about him. He is now a paramedic and a firefighter. What a sweet guy!

Johnny Yong Bosch, the 2nd Black Ranger
Wow, this dude aged pretty well! I had found him cute back then but now he's really HOT. In fact, I daresay that he seems to be the best looking Ranger now. (Yeah, I can feel the fangirl within me going all googly-eyed.)

Though Bosch had acquired a few films on his belt after his Ranger stint, most of his projects required his voice talent. (Can anyone here see the irony of hiding the most beautiful Ranger behind cartoon characters?) He is best known for giving soul to Trigun's Vash The Stampede.

Jason David Frank, the original Green Ranger
Well, the Green Ranger did not appear until episode 17 of the first season but Jason David Frank is like the only semi-permanent Power Ranger. He had gone through the most number of seasons and most number of costume colors. These were largely due to his popularity. One look at the left photo and you'll understand why. (I did say earlier that he was the reason I got hooked.)

Having continuously received intensive martial arts training since childhood, he is now a mixed martial arts fighter and so far his record seems flawless. I can hardly recognize him anymore because he's looking a bit scarier.

Here's a clip of his debut as an MMA fighter.

I have a couple of questions about the Power Rangers series, though: When will they assign a female red ranger who'll also serve as the leader? And when will they get a male pink ranger? I'd like to see at least one of those instances happen. Heh.

Hana Yori Dango fashion and a survey about contest prizes

I finally relented and reviewed a live action "J-Dorama" at The Otaku Fridge. It's Hana Yori Dango, a  soap opera that was based on a comic book of the same name and Meteor Garden's Japanese counterpart. I can't stop raving about the women's clothes, especially the ones worn by the older ladies.

Anyway, looks like I have to transfer all of my Japan-related posts there now, especially my J-POP music reviews. If ever I do come up with a special feature for Muji or Saizen, it will all be located there.

+ + +

Anyway, I'm going to try utilizing the discussion area of the Facebook Fan Page. I need to do a survey on possible contest prizes for members of Skysenshi's Hermitage. It seems every time I do spring cleaning, I always find so many unopened expired items that should've been given away while they were still in their best condition. Most of them are cosmetics. Meep!

I also have a surplus of stationery and planners. The planners have become such a waste, since they're now practically useless. Who would want to use a 2009 planner when 2010 is about to end? Plus, can you imagine how many men's stuff I threw out because...well, I'm not a dude? So now I'm on the lookout for possible contest prizes from among my freebies. (I've been getting a lot. Whew!) If I know people are interested in them, at least I wouldn't have to throw them all away.

So here's my little survey question for those who religiously join my contests:

You can actually answer this at the Hermitage's discussion area. The question is: "What other prizes would you like me to give away?" (Just click the link to answer the question. Thanks!)

Coffee Prince | Missha Raffle Winner Round 1

Part of the reason why my sore eyes wouldn't go away -- besides the fact that I had been writing my final papers -- was that I was going through Korean and Japanese drama marathons. The most frustrating part about having sore eyes is that you'd get so freakishly bored when you're stuck with them. I'd actually love to go to work, if I weren't afraid of contaminating everyone else.

Anyhoo, this was the first series I've finished within the week: Coffee Prince. I know it's super late! It's just that it seems I needed to be sick, in order to relax.

커피프린스 1호점 or Coffee Prince is a fun romantic comedy about a spoiled rich dude, Choi Han Kyul (played by Gong Yoo) who mistakes Go Eun Chan (Yoon Eun Hye) for a boy but falls in love with her anyway. I understand that Koreans are quite conservative when it comes to gay issues, which is why I applaud Coffee Prince for exploring the idea of love that knows no gender. That was quite brave. And apparently, it was a rather successful formula, since the show became tremendously popular in Korea that it had to extend by one episode.

I just felt so sorry for Choi Han Kyul. Can you imagine being so tormented by "forbidden" feelings in an ultra-conservative society? Looking at all the actors in this series, I'd be confused as well. Everyone's so pretty. Sheesh. Especially the waffle dude, Sun Ki (Kim Jae Wook).

What I couldn't get over, actually, was the fact that Choi Han Kyul looks so much like my former boss Mike Lagumbay. They have the same cute smile (eyes that disappear into mere slits, dimples that overpower the face).

I swear, the resemblance is so uncanny!! It actually made me wonder where Mike is now...

Anyway, since we're on Korean ground this very moment, I'd like to announce the winner for the first round of my Missha Giveaways. (Missha is one of the more popular Korean beauty brands and I've written about them in my BB cream review and the actual contest.)

Our winner is:

Congratulations, MommyLove Bytes ⎝⏠⏝⏠⎠!! Please PM me your mailing address so I could ship this to you. Although...I might be a little late in shipping it off because my eyes are still sore. People might resent that I'm still contagious. Haha!

Details of the participants and the draw can be found in this spreadsheet.

Time to start the second round. Those who have already participated in the first round are already automatically in the second round. For those who haven't participated yet, here are the mechanics again:

  1. Become a member of Skysenshi's Hermitage by liking the Facebook page so that you can...
  2. Like this photo of Missha Mini 6 Colors Lip Palette & Perfect Cover BB Cream. This way, I can easily collect your names and run them through the randomizer, which will cough up the winner.
That's it.

ADDITIONAL ENTRIES: I will put an extra entry (meaning your name will appear on the list twice) for those who spread the word about this contest through blogs and/or Facebook. Of course, I need to find out the URLs of your blog entries about this. Just put them on the comment fields below or tag Skysenshi's Hermitage if you're spreading the message via FB.

For those who have participated the first time around, you can re-Tweet, re-Plurk and re-post to FB. That would mean additional entries again on top of the entries you already gathered on the first round. Just make sure that you indicate here the NEW URLs of your re-postings. Thanks!

Some of the other peeps did the additional steps without doing the actual two requirements, so those weren't counted. Please make sure you do Steps 1 and 2 first before trying to enter using the additional steps. Thanks! =^.^=

If you encounter any real problems (like Ms. Melanie Magno), please don't hesitate to contact me so I can find solutions. I still have lots of items to dispatch so I suppose there's plenty of chances.

Merlin

I love Arthurian tales and the many ways these have been told, my favorite of which is the feminist Mists of Avalon by Marion Zimmer Bradley. This TV series, brought to us by BBC, is analogous to what Smallville is to Superman. Meaning, we get to see what the famous sorcerer Merlin was like when he was young and Camelot was fresh.

As far as I can tell, King Arthur is a mythical figure and as we know from how folklore were handed down -- through word of mouth, songs and poetry -- there wouldn't be any definitive canon to follow. Hence, I wouldn't be very particular about whether this account is accurate or not, although one might notice the huge departure of the characters' origins from common interpretations. Like for instance, Morgana (Morgan Le Fay, played by Katie McGrath) is King Uther Pendragon's (Anthony Head) ward instead of Prince Arthur's (Bradley James) half-sister. Guinevere (Angel Coulby) is Morgana's maidservant, which makes her far from the lady we've been familiar with. Nimueh is the evil sorceress that Merlin (Colin Morgan) must defeat even though many of her versions portrayed her as an inherently kind-hearted magical being. These are but few of the deviations from the norm, which make me think that this is yet another complete retelling of the Arthurian legends.

There are two things most noticeable -- at least to me -- in this series:

  1. I was thinking, "Ah! So this is where the best parts of Legend of the Seeker went." I know that what I had just mentioned is a totally unrelated title but King Uther reminds me so much of Jagang the Just, the Seeker's most formidable enemy in the books. (Too bad Legend of the Seeker ends with Season 2 and viewers will never get to know Jagang the Just. I would have liked to see the Rahl brothers combine forces against him.) What I mean by this is that Uther has deluded himself into thinking that magic is the root of all the world's evil and thus must be purged. He executes innocent people in the name of Justice. This is the series' theme all throughout, which sometimes frustrates me. Uther's bigotry causes Merlin and Arthur to kill the persecuted and many times the persecuted are branded "evil" just because they don't side with Uther.

Common scenario: Uther executes someone whom he believes is a sorcerer. An angry relative/loved then wreaks havoc on Camelot out of despair and vengeance. Merlin and Arthur then kill the grieving fellow to end the conflict, thus cleaning up the mess caused by Uther's brutality. This happens in every episode, which is why I sometimes want to hit Merlin repeatedly with a broom stick. Don't you ever learn, boy??
  2.

    Arthur poking Merlin.

  3. Despite my complaints about the main characters' lack of remorse, I still found myself addicted to the series. Perhaps this is caused by how the characters relate with one another. Merlin and Arthur have a unique masochistic friendship, while Morgana and Guinevere are the unlikely best friends.

I also realized that I would always anticipate Arthur and Guinevere's scenes. This is amusing because I have hated all versions of Guinevere and now that she plays a servant, I've finally found a Guinevere I actually like. Thing is, I get distracted with how this Gwen's visage reminds me of LL Cool J or Seth of The Beastmaster. Don't get me wrong, the actress Coulby has a totally sweet face...when she's not Gwen (like I said, LL Cool J comes to mind). I do, however, forget all that when I see how Arthur trains his blue-eyed gaze upon her. Butterflies-in-the-stomach moments, definitely! (Darn that Gwen. Both Arthur and Lancelot, who fight for her affections, are hotties!)
Now tell me what woman in her right mind can resist that stare?

Like many TV series, Merlin also suffers from quite a few plot holes. I didn't let that deter me from my enjoyment, though. I am absolutely looking forward to Season 3.

Here's a bit of Lancelot. Heh.

Legend of the Seeker

Legend of the Seeker is a television show that's loosely based on Terry Goodkind's Sword of Truth novels. I have mixed feelings towards this series, as I have actually read the entire collection. I went through all eleven books of it, even after the anthology went downhill come book four.

For those who are not familiar with the fantasy series, here's a snippet of my 2008 book review:
We have Richard Cypher, a regular forest ranger, who begins his quest when his father is brutally murdered by a powerful wizard. In his journey, he meets the exquisite Kahlan Amnell, his future life partner, and together they experience tales upon tales of sorcery, mythical beasts, and magical boundaries...for Richard is named the Seeker, the one who is destined to hold the Sword of Truth. As such, he struggles with the responsibility of bringing order in a world that's about to be engulfed in darkness.

There are a number of things I like about the TV version. For one, Richard of the book is much too powerful that the writing almost feels narcissistic. He also tends to get overly philosophical. By that I mean he sounds like a preacher doing sermons. The TV series toned him down and they did away with the preachy bits. TV Richard is fun, energetic, responsible but also flawed. Craig Horner is perfect as Richard.

Speaking of perfection, it seems that casting is the series' strongest point. I couldn't imagine what Kahlan would look like in person. I also figured that her white robes would look tacky. Bridget Regan fleshes Kahlan out very well: angelic face, deadly countenance, and she rocks the white robe! Regan looks like a mother, a sister and a slave driver all rolled into one. Her chemistry with Horner is so palpable, you'll feel sorry that they can't be together (because Kahlan's powerful touch would destroy Richard).

Wizard Zeddicus Zu'l Zorander, portrayed by Bruce Spence, is as charming, wacky and...well, he's actually a lot more powerful than the book version since he seems to be using Wizard's Fire often. (In the books, Wizard's Fire takes its toll on the caster.) Season Two introduces Cara, the Mord Sith, played by Tabrett Bethell. I cannot picture a more suitable Cara, beautiful but hella scary!

Okay, it is with Darken Rahl, portrayed by Craig Parker, that I had mixed feelings about. See, I like Darken Rahl in the novels. He isn't two-dimensional and he's a blue-eyed blond. It's not that I judge by the looks but the whole angelic demeanor is what tricks everyone into thinking he can be trusted. Plus it completely opposes what his name, Darken, stands for.

Thing is, Craig Parker is a very good actor. The writers initially did not do him justice by giving him two-dimensional scenes. Here, the main villain is literally DARK, with no explanations as to why he's like that! I hate what they did to Darken Rahl at the beginning of the series, but you'd see Parker's versatility in Season Two, episode 40, "Walter", where he played a comedian who impersonated Darken Rahl. Parker would've looked good as a blonde, too. I mean, hello? Didn't he play Haldir of Lórien, who is an elf, in Lord of the Rings? Why did they have to make Darken Rahl so cliché when they've employed an actor of his caliber??

Darken Rahl (left) and Haldir of Lórien (right)

Another thing I didn't like about the series is how they completely rewrote many of the characters' origins, resulting in loony plot holes. I'm especially looking at Richard's relatives (his sister Jensen, and his father in the book that became his brother in the series). I hate what they did to Sister Nicci, too, and how her episodes resulted in Richard's power -- the essence of his war wizardry -- becoming useless. This is the thing about deviating from the original source. If you re-write the characters' origins, you had better map out their paths or the succeeding episodes could come bite you in your nether parts.

Overall, I enjoyed the series -- mostly thanks to the cast. I just couldn't stop complaining about how they took out some of The Sword of Truth's best parts. Honestly, I also want to see Sorceress Adie and the beasties Gratch and Scarlet (the dragon)...Oh!! And Nathan Rahl!!

What is your MAJOR MAJOR answer? (Best comment wins a Larry Alcala Solo Shirt!)

In defense of our lovely Ms. Philippines 2010, Venus Raj, I could say that there was no way of answering that question publicly. I had made my "major major" mistake when I was in my mid twenties and I would not have divulged that on national television. She's only 22, almost fresh out of college, led a very straight life because she came from the rural poor (she lived in a nipa hut in the middle of rice fields!) and was determined to turn it all around. What kind of big mistake was she supposed to say? That she only hit Cum Laude status and not Suma Cum Laude upon graduation? I would not even consider her dethronement from -- and eventual reinstatement to -- the Bb. Pilipinas pageant her mistake.

Here, as ABC News reports, are other people who had difficulty formulating an impromptu answer to this question. Notice that many of them are highly intelligent.

How about you? How would you have answered that question?

Best MAJOR MAJOR answer in the comment box wins a free Solo Shirt from the Larry Alcala Collection. This contest will run until September 15, 2010. You can have as many entries as possible, so keep 'em coming!

Want a chance to win a shirt from this collection? Be as fashionable and hip as Venus Raj and try to answer her Ms. Universe question (via comments): "What is one big mistake that you've made in your life, and what did you do to make it right?"

Economics of Aesthetics: Glee, Charice, Botox and Belo

I am not familiar with Charice Pempengco, but I am familiar with Glee. It's a funny musical series that promotes the credo of being true to yourself. So imagine my disgust when I came across this chismis article, wherein "Doctor" Vicki Belo told the 18-year-old girl that her gum-chewing habits made her face big and that she needed Botox and Thermage -- both are anti-aging methods -- to make her face less round.

Um. My gosh. I can't believe anyone would buy that. I also can't believe Belo's audacity to actually say this kind of garbage in an interview. This article is very personal to me for two reasons:
  • Glee. Notice that the most popular cast members did not whittle down their noses or their weights because those are what made them stellar.
  • The ethics of Belo's medical group.

I remember a few years back when I had an allergy attack caused by the antibiotics cotrimoxazole. (If you're going to read that old post, scroll down for the negative points.) The drug not only gave me hellish migraines, it also caused me to break out all over. I went to the Belo clinic in Rustan's to have it treated.

The Belo "doctors" solution: Spanish peel. Which did make my skin glow so beautifully, but did not treat my allergy.

You know what else the "doctors" did? They basically told me everything else that was wrong with me aesthetically, starting from my skin color and then attempted to sell me glutathione shots. I think they're very much used to insecure women who aren't very comfortable in their skin. They probably have never come across people like me, who actually went to them for REAL TREATMENT. Which I never got. I wanted to get rid of an allergy, not get a makeover.

While the "doctor" was telling me how my tan is so out of season, I wanted to stab him with the closest syringe. If he had started on my nose (which I never edit in photos, no matter how much I am tempted to), I would probably ask him if he had needed to sell his soul just to look like a friggin' vampire. Ooh, the Edward Cullen look is so in!

I never did get to post about how my allergy healed. A friend, Danica Cervantes, helped me out by introducing me to her uncle, Dr. Gio Dimayuga. Google him and you'll find that he is a real doctor. Real doctors treat the source of the problem. Internally. They also tell you when you don't need any sort of procedure. More importantly, they will never feed you some crock about gum-chewing just to bamboozle you out of your hard-earned money.

(And probably your career, too, for I can't imagine Charice belting out while her jaw muscles are paralyzed with Botox. Maybe if she sings everything in falsetto...)

This is the height of irresponsibility, Belo. Really. Charice should not be getting Botox or Thermage at her age. You commercial doctors just keep "treating" patients who do not need your kind of "treatment". Ethical doctors tell patients WHEN THEY DO NOT NEED THIS.

There ought to be a law against people like you.

My Nominees for the Top 10 Emerging Influential Blogs 2010

Janette Toral's Writing Project Link:
http://www.influentialblogger.net/2010/05/join-top-10-emerging-influential-blogs.html

My sister had been raving about Top 10 Emerging Influential Blogs for 2010, brainchild of Janette Toral (of Digital Filipino fame). It's only now that I've heard of this (helleur, hermit emerging in the Philippine blogosphere over here!) so I was quite excited to find that there's a sort of award that focuses on the newer blogs. Many of my nominees aren't exactly newbies, as I will discuss later, but their blogs fit the bill.

This is quite a daunting task since many of my favorite new blog authors have not been updating for quite some time. I even had to nudge some of my nominees to go update.  Anyhoo, here are my nominees:

 The Reluctant Stylista

Blog: The Reluctant Stylista
URL: http://www.reluctantstylista.com
Author:
Alexandra Lapa, though I call her Thundersenshi (yes, she is my sister)
Reason for nomination: Although Alex is not new to the websphere, being a self-educated web designer since age 12, she only realized that she loved fashion recently.  Reluctant Stylista was born in late 2009.  She was a tomboy growing up (even her friends were shocked that she's studying to become a stylist now), so I find her blog helpful to those who had the same experience. She's right about one thing: all women want to look good, even those who are androgynous.  You'll see her feature so many styles and many of these are friendly to women of all inclinations. It also doesn't hurt that she features many upcoming models, some of whom have unconventional looks.

DJMixes

Blog: DJMixes
URL: http://jonisho.blogspot.com/
Author: Dong Santos
Reason for nomination: Dong is one of the people I will call a multidisciplinary artist. He was a graduate of Multimedia Arts but ended up continuing his father's fashion design business. Many of his blog posts feature his interests in various forms of art, from film. Dong is also an explorer, so you'll see him feature many spots in and out of the country, although he professes deep love for the Philippines' beautiful scenery. Dong is funny and silly in a very endearing way, but his posts show a lot of substance.

Manila Life

Blog: Manila Life
URL: http://manila-life.blogspot.com
Author: Manila Stone
Reason for nomination: I stumbled upon this blog when I was looking at my tracker stats. My eyes actually rounded at the amount of information about contests. Wow. I almost wish this blog had been around earlier (though that would mean I wouldn't get to nominate it), because there was a time that I had enjoyed joining (and winning) numerous contests.  And, believe it or not, there is a community for contest addicts. They really take this hobby seriously, so much that they've turned contest entries into art. I can only be amazed at the wonderful things that result from competitions. This is a blog that caters to that community.  It's also very up-to-date when it comes to events in and around Manila.

NotOffline

Blog: NotOffline
URL: http://www.notoffline.com
Author: Kenneth Tan
Reason for nomination: Like Alex, Ken began tinkering with websites when he was 12. His portfolio is impressive, no doubt about that. But it was only in late 2009 that he began this blog.  He has a lot of opinions about happenings in Manila as he dabbles into a mishmash of things ranging from the mundane to the very technical. His varied interests can be seen in his 2009 exhibit Warhaus Prjct, which featured street art and street food. Ken's tone is very sarcastic, which many people may find harsh, but he doesn't mince with words so his messages cut effectively across.

Bamboozle dee Dumb

Blog: BAMBOOZLE dee DUMB (The Ranting Hatter)
URL: http://rantinghatter.blogspot.com
Author: Paul Adrian de Vera
Reason for nomination: Paul is a Studio Artist who also enjoys coming up with concepts for advertising. Like Ken, he has a lot of opinions about many things, but his writings make it seem like he's aiming to become a Patrick Flores apprentice (Patrick Flores, as I have mentioned before, is one of my favorite curators). His posts encompass a myriad of topics, from showbiz (the Ricky Martin entry caught my attention) to politics. When he goes into theoretical discussions, however, readers with low attention span may want to carry a bucket load of tissues -- he is nosebleed inducing. I love his discussions, though.

There, my list. Hrn. I just noticed that 4 out of 5 nominees here are Multimedia Artists, 2 are from the College of Saint Benilde (Alex and Dong) and 2 are from Asia Pacific College (Paul and Kenneth). Interesting!

Anyhoo, this event is sponsored by: Events and Corporate Video, Budget hotel in Makati, Pinoy Party Food, Copyediting Services, PR Agency Philippines, Budget Travel Philippines, Send Gifts to the Philippines, Black Friday Deals, Roomrent - units for rent, Search Profile Index, and Corporate Events Organizer
